OneEighty meets on Wednesday nights and serves students in grades 7 through 12. Our desire at OneEighty is to see student’s lives transformed through the amazing love that God has for them through his son, Jesus Christ!

On the surface, every Wednesday night at OneEighty students gather together with a desire to learn more about God and connect with each other through friendship, laughter, great food, prayer, music, games, and an encouraging message from the Bible! At the end of the night, we want students to go home thinking, “That was awesome, I can’t wait ‘til next week!”

On a deeper level, we are a ministry that is devoted to prayer and seeking God. We wholeheartedly desire for Him to lead us. So we also hope that at the end of the night, every student goes home thinking, “God was there!”

OneEighty meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:30pm at Maranatha.

what we're all about

Encouraging students to follow Jesus.

1. Building a Foundation
All throughout His life, and before He ever asked anyone to follow Him, Jesus depended on the Holy Spirit, prayed regularly, lived in obedience to His Father, studied God’s Word, and exalted His Father in worship. These were huge priorities to Jesus, and we want these priorities to belong to our students as well.

2. Inviting Others to Come and See
When Jesus invited people to come check out who He was, He often said “come and see” (John 1:39) because He was about to do something crazy-amazing! We encourage students to invite their friends to come and check out Jesus too, and the incredible things that God is doing.

3. Following Him

After the disciples had spent over a year of "coming and seeing" Jesus, they started following Jesus 24/7 and "left everything" else behind (Luke 5:11). As a result, life-transformation began to happen. The more time they spent with Jesus, the more they became like Him. We want students to follow Jesus everyday, learning from His life, looking to Him for guidance, and learning to trust Him in everything we do.

4. Fishing for Men
After the disciples had spent a year of following Him 24/7, Jesus sent them out to do what He had been doing (Mark 6:12), and that was to fish for men. The disciples were the men He was fishing for, and now it was their turn to turn the world upside down for God's glory, We desire this for students as well, to "go and make disciples of all nations” (Matt. 28:18).
